I’ve subscribed MS3B and SunsetSims via RSS. But isn’t investing a little more time in the beginning worth than constantly reinstalling all your EP/SP for 3 hours AND rebuilding your entire cc collection over and over? I hope at least a few people would find some useful tips from my obsessional behaviors, and… stop crying over their borked games. I know some people think my way of cc organizing is too much work. This is the fruit of my OCD know-how I have accumulated from experiences over many years. This is what the inside of my mod/packages folder looks like as of May, 2015. Trust me, not only haven’t I had a bad save caused by corrupted cc, I’ve never had to rebuild my cc collection just because I can’t tell one from another. Oh well, I still believe the more paranoid you are, the less likely your Sims 3 games are to bork. But it turned out that I was just one of the few cc paranoiacs. So… yes, before joining Sims communities, I thought everyone was like me. Recently a simmer asked me how I organize my cc, and I knew it was time to write this ridiculously long post. ++ I follow exactly the same method when organizing TS4 CC. Also, still getting questions regarding this post at time, I added some FAQ sections. And I finally decided to update this post as there have been some changes to the way I organize my cc.
